The work

The daily work that decides your close date

Bookkeeping does not go wrong at month-end. It goes wrong on the twelfth of the month, in an uncategorized transaction nobody had time to chase. A dedicated bookkeeper does that chasing every day, so the close is a formality rather than a fire drill.

What this seat covers

  • Daily bookkeeping
  • Bank & credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts payable & receivable
  • Month-end close support

QUICKBOOKS ONLINE · XERO

It is the same scope you already see on our services page — the difference here is that one named person owns it, full-time, for your firm only.

How a bookkeeper placement works

Four steps you care about, out of the seven we run.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

Thirty minutes to map your client mix, your file structure and the volume one seat needs to carry.

  2. 02

    We recruit and screen

Sourcing, English screening, bookkeeping and software assessments, reference checks. Fewer than 5% of applicants clear all six gates.

  3. 03

    You interview the shortlist

Meet 2–3 finalists. You choose who joins your firm — or send us back to the funnel at no cost.

  4. 04

Training, onboarding, and then every day after

Role-specific training on your workflows, full security onboarding, then ongoing HR, payroll and performance management from us — permanently.

The full seven-step process, including our six screening gates, is on the how it works page.

One flat monthly fee covers all of it

You get a bookkeeper. We carry the employer overhead. Dedicated bookkeeper seats start at $5,000 per month — no recruiting fee, no equipment invoice, no long-term lock-in.

  • Recruiting & screening
  • HR & payroll
  • Equipment & workstation

Questions firms ask about this seat

Can a dedicated bookkeeper work directly in my firm's QBO file?

Yes — that is the normal arrangement. You provision access under your own QuickBooks Online or Xero account, at the permission level you choose, exactly as you would for an in-house hire. We do not run a parallel system, and we do not move your client data into ours. Access is provisioned during onboarding alongside the rest of our security controls.

How many client books can one dedicated bookkeeper carry?

It depends far more on transaction volume and cleanliness than on client count, which is why we ask about both on the discovery call rather than quoting a number here. What we can commit to: the seat is full-time and exclusive to your firm, so you set the allocation — and you can rebalance it whenever your client mix shifts, without renegotiating anything with us.

What happens during busy season when volume spikes?

Your bookkeeper is a full-time member of your team, so their capacity is yours to direct — including reprioritizing routine work to absorb a spike. If the spike is structural rather than seasonal, the honest answer is that you need a second seat, and we would rather tell you that than quietly let quality slip.

What if the bookkeeper we pick isn't the right fit?

We replace them free of charge under our replacement guarantee, including knowledge transfer to the new team member so your files do not lose continuity. You are not locked into a long-term contract to make that guarantee work.
